324th Fighter Group Crash Site Memorial

On the side of the road overlooking the valley. Marker Black granite plaque mounted on a vertical red stone with French text and insignia.


The memorial remembers the members of the 324th Fighter Group who were flying a B-25 (42-32428) that crashed in bad weather during a short transit flight.

On October 30th 1944 a B-25 Mitchell of the 324th Fighter Group crashed here.
