On the western side of the road near a field.
A small fenced-in stone obelisk with a buried bomber engine helix in front of it and a white sign attached to the fence. There is an inscription on the monument commemorating American aviators who died while completing a supply mission to the French Resistance as part of Operation Carpetbagger.
