Henry H. Ricard was born on 1917. He served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II as a Technical Sergeant in the 850th Bomber Squadron, 801st Bomber Group, Heavy. He entered service in Louisiana. Cremember of the B-24 Liberator serial number 42-51124 5Z which took off at 2306 on 18 June 44 from Harrington, UK, on an ammunition drop to the French Resistance. The plane crashed due to unknown circumstances at 0030. He died on June 18, 1944, was initially buried at Villeneuve-sur-Auvers in France and is now buried at Brittany American Cemetery, St. James, France.
