Monument
One of a series of monuments put up by the First Infantry Division honoring their dead.  It is a large stone stele with an eagle on top.  On each side of the stele are large bronze plaques listing the name of every soldier lost by the division in the area.

This memorial remembers the Meuse-Argonne battles where 1790 First Division soldiers were killed and 7,126 wounded during World War 1.
