Anthony Kropis was a native of Seekonk, Massachusetts. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private in Company I, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division. He died on January 3, 1945 during the unit’s assault of the town of Fosse, Belgium and is now buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium.
