Comments:

Bombadier of the B-17 Flying Fortress 42-102516, shot down over Flamanville on 13 August 1944. The plane took off from Air Base 131 Nuthampstead in the UK to attack troops on the ground in Le Manoir. They were shot down by flak at 1320. The entire crew survived the crash. LT Delbart was taken prisoner and held at the Stalag Luft 1, Barth-Vogelsang.
