Harland H. Burnor was born on January 17, 1925. He was the son of Rayshell Henry Burnor and Gladys Ella Sweet Burnor. Harland served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private First Class in HQ Company, 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on December 1, 1944 during the Battle of the Bulge and is now buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Saint Albans, Franklin County, Vermont, USA.
