Frank A. Deyo was born in Surprise on March 20, 1915, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Deyo. He attended Greenville School and was one of the first to be inducted into service from his area. Frank served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Comapny E, 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on November 24, 1944 at the age of 29 and is now buried in Greenville Rural Cemetery, Greenville, Greene County, New York, USA.
