Andrew J. Bristow was born on August 3, 1908 in Cumberland County, Tennessee. He was the son of Mark Sherman Bristow and Mary Clarissa Ford Bristow. Andrew served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Second Lieutenant in the 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on September 27, 1944 in Aachen, Germany at the age of 27 and is now buried in Grassy Cove Methodist Church Cemetery, Grassy Cove, Cumberland County, Tennessee, USA.
