Leslie Ewing Clark was born on April 4, 1913. He was the son of David James Clark and Martha Matilda Hanson Clark Paulie. He was drafted 17 Sep 1943 after being turned down for enlistment in the Navy. Leslie served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private First Class in the 1st Infantry Division. He died on September 18, 1944 at the age of 31 and is now buried in Beverly National Cemetery, Beverly, Burlington County, New Jersey, USA.
