Henry B. Dyer was born on August 29, 1911 in Maine. He enlisted in the Army on April 1, 1944 at Fort Devens, Massachusetts. He was noted as being employed as a Semiskilled lumbermen and also as Married. Henry served as a Private, Infantry, U.S. Army during World War II. He resided in Hancock County, Maine prior to the war. He died from his wounds received in battle on November 28, 1944 at the age of 33 and is now buried in Long Island National Cemetery, East Farmingdale, Suffolk County, New York, USA.
