Maurice Maxim Fournier was born on September 5, 1919 in Maine. He was the son of Alcide J. Fournier and Hazel A. Fournier. Maurice served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private First Class in the 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division.
