Munfard Kelley was born on November 24, 1916. He was the son of William Thomas Kelley and Francis Elizabeth Sampson Kelley. Munfard served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private in the 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He died on November 19, 1944 at the age of 27 and is now buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium.
