Thomas J. Condon was born in 1922. He was the son of Thomas J. Condon and Edna Florence Pontin Condon. He enlisted in the Army on October 28, 1940, prior to the war, in Syracuse, New York. He was noted as being employed as a Stock Clerk and also as Single, without dependents. Thomas served as a Staff Sergeant in the 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II. He resided in Onondaga County, New York prior to the war. He died from his wounds received in battle on October 12, 1944 and is now buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium.
