Clinton F. Peterson was born on October 11, 1919 in Wisconsin. He was the son of Edwin O. Peterson and Frances May Jennings Burrington. Clinton served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Staff Sergeant in the 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on December 5, 1944 in Germany at the age of 25 and is now buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, USA.
