Donald R. Warber was born on December 31, 1924. He was the son of Roscoe Z. Warber and C. Marie Holcomb Warber. Donald served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private First Class in the 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on September 12, 1944 in Belgium at the age of 19 and is now buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Sycamore, DeKalb County, Illinois, USA.
