Allen M. Love was born on June 9, 1918 in Colorado. He was the son of Charles Allen Love and Pearl Anna Morrell Love. Allen served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private in the 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on September 20, 1944 in Germany at the age of 26 and is now buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, East Prairie, Mississippi County, Missouri, USA.
