Albert P. O'Brien was born on March 27, 1917. He was the son of Dennis M. O'Brien and Lena M. O'Brien. He graduated from Lewiston High School in 1935 and worked at the Pepperell Manufacturing Company prior to entering the military February 26, 1942. Albert served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Sergeant in the 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He died on November 23, 1944 and is now buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium. He also has a cenotaph located in Mount Hope Cemetery, Lewiston, Androscoggin County, Maine, USA.
