Joseph William Golding, Jr. was born on May 27, 1922. He was the son of Joseph William and Beatrice M. Atkin Golding. Joseph served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Sergeant in the 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on November 25, 1944 in Hurtgen Forest, Germany at the age of 22 and is now buried in Perry Township Cemetery, Perry, Lake County, Ohio, USA.
