Wilbur F. McFedrick was born on April 3, 1922. He was the son of Nicholas May McFedrick and Alice Virginia Burnett McFedrick. Wilbur served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private First Class in the 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on September 13, 1944 at the age of 22 and is now buried in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, Petersburg City, Virginia, USA.
