Robert H. Owens was born on November 12, 1923. He was the son of Thomas Walker Owens and Stella L. Clark Owens. Robert served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Private First Class in Company E, 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on November 28, 1944 in Germany at the age of 21 and is now buried in Union Cemetery, Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio, USA.
