Joseph B �JB� Hare was born on April 18, 1918 in Decatur County, Kansas. He was the son of Wilbur Pierson Hare and Hattie Beachel Hare. Joseph served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Technician Fourth Grade in the 635th Tank Destroyer Battalion. He was Killed in Action on October 16, 1944 in Germany at the age of 26 and is now buried in Norcatur Cemetery, Norton County, Kansas, USA.
