When Walter Scott Roberts was born on July 1, 1909, in Spokane, Washington, his father, Walter, was 32 and his mother, Mary, was 28. He had two children with Susan Margaret Bryson. Walter was a US military veteran who is buried in the American Legion Mausoleum just west of Paris. He died in the American Hospital in Neuilly at the age of 60.
