When Gustave Adolfe Erickson was born on September 16, 1891, in Floriston, California, his father, Olof, was 28 and his mother, Anna, was 27. He married Tabourier Yvonne Jeanne on December 24, 1918. They had two children during their marriage. He was a US military veteran who is buried in the American Legion Mausoleum just west of Paris. He died following a road accident in June 1970 at the age of 78.
