Allan Ross MacDougall, a journalist, was born in 1894 in Dundee, Scotland. He was naturalized as a US citizen and served the US Army during World War I and World War II. He died in 1956 at the age of 62 and was buried in the American Legion Mausoleum just west of Paris.
