Jacques Edward Perier was born on January 19, 1910, in Paris, Paris, France, the son of Marie and Mr. Perier. He had one brother. He was a naturalized US citizen and a former Captain in the US Army. Jacques died in the American Hospital in Neuilly in 1949 at the age of 39 and was buried in the American Legion Mausoleum just west of Paris.
