George N. Clark entered the military service in Indiana. He served in the 562nd Bomber Squadron, 388th Bomber Group, Heavy as a Second Lieutenant and Co-Pilot of #43-37724 "Old Silver/Solvang Revenger" aircraft during World War II. He died on October 3, 1944 and is now buried in the Epinal American Cemetery, Dinozé, France. 2Lt Clark was one of the many brave Americans of the 388th Bomber Group who lost their lives in aerial operations against the German forces from June 1943 - August 1945.
