Frank A. Creek was born in 1923 in New York. He resided at 276 Mt. Hope Avenue, Rochester, Monroe County, New York prior to the war. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on December 14, 1942 in Rochester, New York. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed in the printing field with the Bausch & Lomb Company and also as being Single, without dependents. Frank served as a Private, Anti-Aircraft Unit, 563rd Bomber Squadron, 388th Bomber Group, Heavy, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

Pvt Creek died in the "Line Of Duty" of a non-battle related incident in England during the war. He was one of the many brave Americans of the 388th Bomber Group who lost their lives in aerial operations against the German forces from June 1943 - August 1945.
