Jerome L. Flohr was the navigator on the Rodgers Crew. According the J. Hallam, the radio operator, Flohr was killed just before a mission. The crew were waiting beside the aircraft in a tent. Flohr said that he was going off to get a parachute from supply. As he walked over to get his chute, he was struck by a truck. Because of blackout rules the truck's lights has only narrow slits that did not provide very much visibility. Flohr died later of his injury. His current burial place is unknown.
