John Edward Grady was born on September 22, 1925 in Cardwell, Dunklin County, Missouri. He was the son of William E. Grady and Sarethna Newsom Grady. S/Sgt. Grady served as a Ball Turret Gunner on B-17G #44-8437 that crashed near Pr�m, Germany during World War II. He is now buried in the Cardwell Cemetery, Cardwell, Dunklin County, Missouri, USA. He was one of the many brave Americans of the 388th Bomber Group who lost their lives in aerial operations against the German forces from June 1943 - August 1945.
