Kenneth Anthony Hickey was born on June 16, 1920. He served in the 560th Bomber Squadron, 388th Bomber Group, Heavy as a Second Lieutenant and Navigator of #42-38138 aircraft during World War II. He was Killed in Action on March 8, 1944 and is now buried in the Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno, San Mateo County, California, USA. 2Lt Hickey was one of the many brave Americans of the 388th Bomber Group who lost their lives in aerial operations against the German forces from June 1943 - August 1945.
