Frank Walter Kaminski entered the military service in Massachusetts. He served in the 563rd Bomber Squadron, 388th Bomber Group, Heavy as a Second Lieutenant and Navigator of #42-5907 "Wing and a Prayer" aircraft during World War II. He was Killed in Action but was declared "Missing" on July 25, 1943 and is memorialized on the Tablets of the Missing, Cambridge American Cemetery, Cambridge, United Kingdom. 2Lt Kaminski was one of the many brave Americans of the 388th Bomber Group who lost their lives in aerial operations against the German forces from June 1943 - August 1945.
