Louis E. Krueger was born in 1916. He was the son of Edward F. Krueger and Minnie M. Filter Krueger. He served in the 562nd Bomber Squadron, 388th Bomber Group, Heavy, as a Pilot of #42-3395 "Passionate Witch II" aircraft during World War II. He was Killed in Action on September 6, 1943 and is now buried in the Saint John's Lutheran Cemetery, Adrian, Lenawee County, Michigan, USA. Krueger was one of the many brave Americans of the 388th Bomber Group who lost their lives in aerial operations against the German forces from June 1943 - August 1945.
