Raymond Albert Lull was born on October 13, 1916 in New York. He served in the 561st Bomber Squadron, 388th Bomber Group, Heavy, as a Second Lieutenant and Bombardier of #42-30837 "Ole Bassar" aircraft during World War II. Raymond was Killed in Action on December 5, 1943 on a bombing mission. He is now buried in the East Lawn Cemetery, Ithaca, Tompkins County, New York, USA. He was one of the many brave Americans of the 388th Bomber Group who lost their lives in aerial operations against the German forces from June 1943 - August 1945.
