Peter "Pete" Musulin was born on June 2, 1919. A graduate of South High School, class of 1937, Musulin was employed by the Jacobson and Gordon Motor Sales of Homestead. He served in the 563rd Bomber Squadron, 388th Bomber Group, Heavy, as a Second Lieutenant and Co-Pilot of #42-30800 "Cock of the Walk" aircraft during World War II. Peter was killed in a crash, just beyond end of runway during a non-combat flight in Knettishall, Suffolk, England. He is now buried in the Saint George Cemetery, Carrick, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, USA. 2Lt Musulin was one of the many brave Americans of the 388th Bomber Group who lost their lives in aerial operations against the German forces from June 1943 - August 1945.
