Michael Peter Soldato was born on July 8, 1921. He served in the 560th Bomber Squadron, 388th Bomber Group (Heavy), as a First Lieutenant and Pilot of #42-107062 "Worry Bird / Miss Bea Haven" aircraft during World War II. He died on June 8, 1944 at the age of 22 and is now buried in the Beverly National Cemetery, Beverly, Burlington County, New Jersey, USA. 1Lt Soldato was one of the many brave Americans of the 388th Bomber Group who lost their lives in aerial operations against the German forces from June 1943 - August 1945.
