Bronislaw Kraska was born on February 14, 1923. He enlisted in the Army on November 10, 1942 and served in the 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division as a Private during World War II. He died on September 24, 1944 at the age of 21 and is now buried in the East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton, Passaic County, New Jersey, USA. SGT Kraska was one of the brave American paratroopers of the 501st Inf who liberated the village of Eerde, The Netherlands from German forces in September 1944.
