Kenneth P. Reiller was born in 1923 in New York. He resided in Erie County, New York prior to the war. He enlisted in the Army on February 23, 1943 in Buffalo, New York. He was noted as being employed as a Fireman and also as Single, without dependents. Kenneth served as a Private First Class, 501st Parachute Infantry Regt, 101st Airborne Division, U.S. Army during World War II. He was Killed in Action on September 23, 1944 in Netherlands and is now buried in the Netherlands American Cemetery, Margraten, Netherlands. PFC Reiller was one of the brave American paratroopers of the 501st Inf who liberated the village of Eerde, The Netherlands from German forces in September 1944.
