Joseph Reno was born on June 8, 1921 in Jonestown, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Michael Reno and Mary Paulosky Reno. Joseph served in the 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division as a Private during World War II. He was Killed in Action on September 25, 1944 at the age of 23 during the liberation of Eerde, The Netherlands and is now buried in the Saints Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Llewellyn, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, USA.
