John Edward "Jack" Hampson was born on September 20, 1917 in Bardsdale, California. He joined the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve on October 6, 1941 and served as a Pilot in the 772 Squadron FAA [HMS Landrail (RN Air Station, Machrihanish, Argyllshire)] from November 6, 1941 to December 1941. He also served with 780 Squadron FAA, HMS Goshawk & probably 750 Squadron FAA. Jack died in February 1983 in Los Angeles, California.
