Charles Joseph �Chuck� Levandoski was born in 1916 in Maryland. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on June 23, 1942 at Olmsted Field, Middletown, Pennsylvania. He was noted as being employed as a welder and also as Single, without dependents.

Charles served as a Flight Officer, 83rd Squadron, 437th Troop Carrier Group, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. He died of a non-battle related incident when he was struck in the head by a piece of shrapnel after a time-delayed round exploded. F/O Levadonski is buried now in the Epinal American Cemetery, Dinoz�, France.
