Charles L. Miller was born on November 6, 1924, in Fraklin County, Ohio. He was the son of Raymond F. Miller and Leona Maxwell Miller.

Charles served in the 406th Bomber Squadron, 801st Bomber Group, Heavy, as a Second Lieutenant and Bombardier on the B-24 #42-52650 during World War II. He was Killed in Action on January 3, 1945, in the takeoff crash of his airplane. It crashed in the village on Aston Clinton in England, killing all aboard. 2Lt Miller is now buried in the Silent Home Cemetery, Reynoldsburg, Franklin County, Ohio, USA.
