William K. Lawson was born on November 22, 1945. He served in the 406th Bomber Squadron, 801st Bomber Group, Heavy, as a Sergeant and Gunner on the B-24 #42-52650 during World War II. He was Killed in Action on January 3, 1945, in the takeoff crash of his airplane. It crashed in the village on Aston Clinton in England, killing all aboard. Sgt Lawson is now buried in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Ardmore, Carter County, Oklahoma, USA.
