George Kinney Bryant was born in 1922 in McCurtain County, Oklahoma. He was the son of S. R. Bryant and Lulu Bryant.

George served in the 850th Bomber Squadron, 490th Bomber Group, Heavy, as a Staff Sergeant and Ball Turret Gunner on the B-17 #43-38068 during World War II. He was Killed in Action on March 9, 1945, in the crash of his plane (belly-landed) between Gusternhain and Breitscheid in Germany.

SSgt Bryant is now buried in the Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupr�, Belgium.
