Russell Edward Biedebach was born on March 31, 1924, in Pasadena, California. He was the son of Edward Theodor Biedebach and Cordelia Lynn Proctor Biedebach.
Russell served in the 861st Bomber Squadron, 493rd Bomber Group, Heavy, as a Staff Sergeant and Flight Engineer during World War II. He was Killed in Action on June 14, 1944, and is now buried in the Mountain View Cemetery and Mausoleum, Altadena, Los Angeles County, California, USA.
