Pvt Frank W. Everson Plaque -79th Infantry Division
Frank William Everson was born on April 25, 1925, in Elwood, Indiana. He was the son of William Charles Everson and Carrie Breece Everson.
Prior to his Army duties, Frank had been employed with the Holland Furnace Company of Anderson. He was inducted on October 20, 1943, and was overseas only a short time. Frank served in the 314th Infantry Regiment, 79th Infantry Division as a Private during World War II. He was Killed in Action on August 20, 1944, during the liberation of Vexin in France, and he is now buried in the Elwood Cemetery, Elwood, Madison County, Indiana, USA.
