Anthony Carcione was born on April 19, 1915. He resided in Cuyahuga, Ohio, prior to the war. He enlisted on June 9, 1942, and served in the 79th Reconnaissance Troop, 79th Infantry Division as a Technician 5th Grade. He was Killed in Action on August 23, 1944, at the age of 29, during the liberation of Vexin in France. He is now buried in the Calvary Cemetery, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, USA.
