William H. Mueller was born on March 19, 1919. He was the son of Edwin P. Mueller and Sophie B. Rahn Mueller.

William served in the 313th Infantry Regiment, 79th Infantry Division as a First Lieutenant during World War II. He was Killed in Action on August 28, 1944, at the age of 25, during the liberation of Vexin, France. 1Lt Mueller is now buried in the Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield, Waukesha County, Wisconsin, USA.
