Isadore Bauernhuber was born in 1913 in Passaic, New Jersey. He was the son of Mary Louise (Weichsel) Bauernhuber.

Isadore enlisted on December 22, 1942, at Newark, New Jersey, and was ultimately assigned to the 120th Infantry Regiment of the 30th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action on August 29, 1944, during the liberation of Vexin, France, and is now buried in the Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-Sur-Mer, France.
