Stanley J. Pietruch was born on October 18, 1924. He was the son of Andrew Pietruch and Mary Dusza Pietruch.

Stanley served in the 119th Infantry Regiment, 30th Infantry Division, as a Private First Class during World War II. He was Killed in Action on August 29, 1944, at the age of 19, during the liberation of Vexin, France. PFC Pietruch is now buried in the Saint Stanislaus-Saint Casimir Societies Cemetery, Whitesboro, Oneida County, New York, USA.
